Leanor Martha Harding

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Leanor M. Harding, a remarkable woman whose strength and love of life will remain in our hearts forever.

Leanor Martha Harding, of Rochester, passed on October 18, 2026, at the age of 85. She is survived by her children Alexandria “Sandy” Harding and Gordana Nastasic, Kristina Wadhams (Harding) and Jeff Wadhams, her beloved Granddaughter Tarrah Wadhams, and her nephews Jason Marth and Steven Marth.

Leanor was adventurous from a young age. In her youth, she rode her beloved horse, Queeny, embracing the freedom, excitement, and joy that came with it. She loved having fun and lived with a sense of curiosity that made her life uniquely her own.

Leanor also loved to travel, attend the theater, read, watch her favorite television programs, and go to the movies with her granddaughter, Tarrah. Additionally, she enjoyed playing cards and games of all kinds, especially when she won. Her competitive nature, determination, and the joy she took in every victory made play with her an experience everyone would remember. For Leanor, winning was always part of the fun.

In her younger years, she was an avid tennis player, and she continued to follow the sport with enthusiasm throughout her life. These interests brought her joy, but they also reflected something essential about Leanor - her passion and appreciation for the experiences that made life so meaningful.

Leanor lived her life in her own way. She was strong-willed and outspoken, never afraid to say what she thought. She knew what she wanted, stood her ground, and made her presence known. Her unmistakable personality and humor made her impossible to forget.

She had a gift for making ordinary moments memorable. She created memories that will be treasured forever - not only because of what she did, but because of the personality she brought to every moment.

To her family, Leanor was woven into the familiar rhythm of everyday life. Her presence, conversations, laughter, opinions, and adorable traditions became part of the memories that shaped their lives. It is often these everyday moments - familiar routines and simple pleasures - that become most precious.

Her life was so much more than its ending. It was filled with love, joy, lasting relationships, and countless delightful situations.

Leanor has left an everlasting imprint of love upon our minds, hearts, and souls. Although her physical life has come to an end, her spirit will remain with us forever - cherished beyond words, remembered beyond time, and loved beyond measure.
