She was predeceased by her husband, James, and her son, Conan.
She is survived by her children, Carol (William) MacDonald, Sheila Hughes, and Christopher (Sandra) Barry; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mary was a proud graduate of Nazareth College. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Helen’s Church in Gates and very active within the church. She loved her family, storytelling, and poetry.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of the Brightonian for their compassionate care and chocolate ice cream.
A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Nazareth College.
