Mary Jo Clark

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clark; her parents, Joseph Bickel and Geraldine Robertson; her stepfather, James Robertson; her brother, James Bickel; her son-in-law, Delbert "Red" Stedman; and her beloved dog, Pooh, who was her devoted companion for many years.

Mary Jo is survived by her children, Charles (Tina) Clark and Jenice Stedman; her grandchildren, Lauren Clark and Nicholas Clark; her great-grandson, Nicholas Clark Jr.; her siblings, Thomas (Mary) Bickel, Kathleen (Thomas) Voelkl, and David (Kathleen) Robertson; her sister-in-law, Linda Bickel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Mary Jo loved to play cards (she was especially good at Euchre), go to the movies, dress up for holidays (she had a shirt for every occasion), and read books. She found great joy in keeping up with friends and family online, especially her niece Courtney's "Raelynn and Mommy's Pretend Cooking Show", which she absolutely adored. She enjoyed family vacations and especially loved taking cruises to the Caribbean. Mary Jo believed in helping others and did so with monthly donations to both human and animal charities for many years. She had a generous heart, a sharp mind, a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

After retiring, she and Jim became snowbirds, spending their winters in The Villages, Florida, and summers in New York. A few years after Jim's passing, Mary Jo moved back to Honeoye Falls, NY, to be close to her family.

As per Mary Jo's wishes, there will be no services. At a later date, her ashes, along with Jim's, will be placed at Holy Sepulchre Ascension Garden Cemetery in Henrietta, NY (Columbaria 2 - Tier C - Row 69). In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Jo's honor may be made to Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester.
