She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walton Rhoda; her parents, Harold & Arlene Noble; brother, Jerry Noble; and son, Jeff Rhoda.
She is survived by her children: Brian (Cindy) Rhoda, David (Michele) Rhoda, Ken (Amy) Rhoda, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Rhoda; 8 grandchildren: Zach, Eric, Jeff, Brittney, Elizabeth, Margaret, John Paul, and David; 9 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Lee (Greta) Noble, Linda (Ray) Shippers, Barb (Jack) Harper, Karen (Gary) Roberts, and Randy Noble; as well as a large extended family and many dear friends.
Nancy worked as a School Bus Driver for many years for Rochester City Schools and BOCES in Fairport. She was one of the first 7 female firefighters in Monroe County, working for the Riverdale Fire Department. She loved gardening and playing euchre. She was proud to be one of Jehovah’s witnesses.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 12th, from 4-7PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 13th, at 10:00AM at the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 280 Marsh Rd. Pittsford, NY. Entombment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or Lollypop Farm Humane Society of Greater Rochester.
