He was born in Rochester, NY, on March 16, 1937. He enjoyed a career as a Lithographer, retiring from Eastman Kodak.
Dick had a love of classic cars, especially Cadillacs. He was a founding member of the Western New York Region Cadillac & LaSalle Club.
Dick was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 61 years, Patricia "Pat" Walther in 2017; as well as his parents, Elmer and Aldana Walther, and his siblings, Donald, Robert, and Gladys.
He is survived by his loving children, Peggy (Tim) Donlon and Janet (Larry) Patt; as well as his beloved grandchildren, Jayme (Matthew) Kehoe, Matthew Donlon, Katie Donlon (Dan Butler), Karlie (Robert) Bolen, Kimberly Patt (Nathan Voigtschild), and Zachary Paruzynski; great-grandchildren, Addison, Brody, Kaden, and Deklyn; sister, Shirley (Jim) Owens; and his furry companions, Juliet and Abby.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:30-11:00AM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. Dick will be laid to rest in the Falls Cemetery with his wife.
