Ronald K. Hughey died Thursday, July 7, 2011 at age 67 at St. John’s Home after a courageous struggle with lung cancer. Predeceased by his parents, David and Pauline. He is survived by 25 cousins and many loyal friends who will never forget his outgoing, energetic, generous spirit. Always eager to lend a helping hand, Ron genuinely touched so many lives. Ron attended Gates-Chili High School and Hiram College before his employment at Marine-Midland and Chase Bank. He was an avid golfer and often volunteered at the St. John’s Golf Tournament.
Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8pm at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Home, 150 Highland Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
