

Ronald B. Lada, 88, from Farmington, NY passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Ron is originally from Wilkes Barre, PA. He graduated from Coughlin High School in 1954.
Ron was a man who truly loved life and embraced every moment with joy. He especially enjoyed watching Penn State football, playing golf, cards, and traveling to new places. His fun-loving spirit, warm personality, and zest for adventure made lasting memories for everyone who knew him.
Ron worked for Acme Markets for 45 years which took him to Wellsboro, PA where he and the family felt at home. He became active in the Laurel Festival, Tyoga Country Club, and Junior Chamber of Commerce. When not working, he supported his children by attending all their school events.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents Peter and Mary Lada and brother Joseph of Wilkes-Barre, PA. Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Lillian. He was a proud and loving father to daughters Debbie (Lada) and Leo McLaughlin of Farmington, NY; Kathy (Lada) and Dennis Call of Downingtown, PA; and son Ken and Carol Lada of Mountain Top, PA, brother Robert and Patty Lada of Wilkes-Barre, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at St. Catherine of Siena in Mendon, NY. on October 14th at 10:30 a.m. with the mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Ron's name to the American Diabetes Association.
Ron's legacy of love, laughter, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
