Ronald J. Weathers, Sr. of Gates, died peacefully surrounded by family, Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at age 83. Predeceased by his wife, Marjorie; loving companion, Sandra Schmelzer; and brothers, Lawrence and John Weathers. He is survived by his children, Ron, Jr. (Cindy), Patty (Joe) Ferrigo, Judy Ruf, Kathy (Jerry) Ruf, Alice (George) Fleming, and Michael Weathers; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Saturday, 11am -12pm at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., where a funeral service will immediately follow at noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the ASPCA.
