Alvin Langston

Alvin Langston, departed this life on Wednesday January 17, 2024, he was born to the late Willie and Eula Mae Armour Langston on November 28, 1937 in Aliquippa, PA.

Alvin grew up in Beaver County, and joined the US Army in 1956. He was honorably discharged in 1959.

Alvin worked for various companies, Sutton's Carwash –Rochester, PB&I—Rochester, Levinson Steel—Ambridge, Hussey Copper—Leetsdale, and he was an employee of Walmart for the last 21 years.

Alvin married his wife of 63 years, Norma Jean Langston on March 15, 1960.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Arthur Thomas, Tuggie Brown, Willie Langston, Donald Langston, four sisters; Zephyr Louis Bowles, Annie Brown, Olive McGowan-Knight, Norma Jean Langston and three nephews; Littleton Bowles, Richard McGowan and Jermaine Langston.

Surviving in addition to his wife, four daughters; Alesia Jones, Aretha Langston, Audry Langston, Altovise Reid, son Charles Jones, grandchildren; Natasha (Jonathon) Conkle, two great-granddaughter; Danae Langston, Tiara Conkle and two great-grandsons; Marcus Conkle and Jontae Conkle and one great-great grandson; Alexander Langston

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM, followed by military honors at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074.

Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
