Annlee Russell, 87, of Rochester, passed on Thursday, April 11, 2019. She was born April 13, 1931 in Leon, WV, daughter of the late Charles and Katherine (Bender) Thomas. During her years of employment she worked in the Account Collections Department of the Beaver County Times.
Annlee had a variety of interests. Among her most notable and enjoyable: she was a private airplane pilot, a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and an accomplished artist in the medium of oil painting. Annlee loved to remember people by sending them a personalized, handcrafted greeting card. She was a member of the Church of God Worldwide Association, Youngstown, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Joseph Arthur Russell on February 18, 2013; and her sister: Dora Helbling.
Annlee is survived by her son: Joseph Charles Russell, South Beaver; her daughter; Rebecca Ann Russell, Rochester and her grandson: Joel Thomas Russell, Rochester.
Friends will be received today, Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., immediately following the visitation. Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
