

Arthur W. 'Art' McKissic, age 70, of Economy Boro, passed away after an extended battle with cancer, on Monday, September 8, 2025, at his residence. Born May 10, 1955, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late Leroy McKissic and Edith (Woten) McKissic. Art loved to camp, hike and fish with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah (Brenner) McKissic, three daughters; Dawn (Jason) Maker, Tamara (Tim Kozminski) McKissic, and Amy (Clint) Fleming. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Madison, Dominic, Lyra, Colt, Halle, Parker, Theo, Avery and Josie, three sisters; Reni McKissic, Tami McKissic and Lisa Baker.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister, Laura McKissic, two nephews; Jared and Jeremiah Henning, his maternal grandparents, Alpha and David Woten, and his maternal grandmother, Bernice Riley.
Friends will be received at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074, on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 11am until the time of funeral services, including full military honors, at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
