Betty J. (Bon) Book, age 91, of Aliquippa, Hopewell Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township. She was born on December 1, 1932, in New Brighton. Betty loved to bowl, having bowled at the Beaver Falls Turners for many years. She spent years as a self employed beautician, and volunteered as a foster grandmother at the McGuire Home in New Brighton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Harry E. Book (2006), a sister; Mary Gilmore.
She is survived by two sons; Michael and Ronald Book; one daughter; Marlea (Ralph) Moore; and four grandsons; Michael, David, Matthew and Joseph Book.
As per Betty's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
