Carl S Nenadovich

Carl S. Nenadovich, 94, of Ambridge passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Concordia Villa St Joseph in Baden. He was born on September 12, 1926 in Sewickley, to the late Peter & Teresa Nenadovich. He was the last surviving and second of four sons: Frank, Carl, Joseph (Joe) and Peter Jr. He attended Ambridge High School until he enlisted and served in the Army Air Corp in the Philippines Islands in World War II. He was honorably discharged on March 2, 1947. He married Irene Mesko (deceased) in 1951 and worked in an administrative role at Armco Ambridge Plant for 30 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Ambridge and later worshipped at Good Samaritan Church, Ambridge. He played the double bass in a Tamburitza orchestra with his older brother, Frank. They performed at local venues and toured Croatia in the late 1970’s. He spent many happy times at his holiday cottage in Linesville at Lake Pymatuning, loved playing cards with his grandchildren when they visited, and delighted in telling a joke or two. He visited his son, Gary, in Australia on several occasions and will be dearly missed by friends and family both in the USA and in Australia. He is survived by his son, Gary Nenadovich of Bramston Beach, Queensland, Australia; his companion Barbara Rose of Ambridge, PA; his nephew, Frank (Tamara) Nenadovich Jr of Port Charlotte, FL; his niece Patty (Frank) McKenzie of Fair Oaks, PA; his niece, JoAnn (Paul) Nenadovich Muller of Economy, PA; his niece, Lisa Nenadovich of Columbus, OH ; his granddaughter, Danielle (Jared) Roark of San Diego, CA; his grandson, Scott Nenadovich of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, his grandson, Joel (Jemimah) Nenadovich of Wyoming, New South Wales, Australia; his great grandson, Jackson Roark of San Diego, CA and his great granddaughter, Presley Roark of San Diego, CA. A funeral service will be held at 2.00pm EST on Tuesday February 2, 2021 in the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 273 Route 68, Rochester PA 15074. Private interment will take place at the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
