
She was born December 25, 1938 in Beaver Falls, daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Crognale) Moore.
Known affectionately as Lee by family and friends, she retired from NOVA Chemicals, formerly ARCO-Polymers, as the superintendant of the warehouse store after 26 years of service. She attended Chippewa Evangelical Free Church where she was blessed to foster many dear friendships with people in her Bible Study.
Lee is survived by her husband of 39 years: Clair F. Burkhart; her son and daughter-in-law: Dr. Eric and Kellie Ehrenberg, Chippewa Township; two step-daughters and their spouses: Cindy and Charles Miller, Annadale, VA; Denise and John Thomson, Post Falls, Idaho; six grandchildren: Brooke and Jordan Ehrenberg; Paul and Julie Miller; Tarra and John, III Thomson; four great grandchildren; and her sister: Elizabeth Eckhardt, Beaver Falls.
Her family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A private family service will be held on Saturday with entombment to follow, Pastor Bill Walder, officiating.
