Carol Goehring

Carol Goehring, age 83, of Beaver Falls, went Home to her Saviour on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Heritage Valley Beaver, surrounded by her loving family. Born October 4, 1941, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond 'Tiny' and Margaret (Simmons) Goehring. She was a member of Park Gate Baptist Church for many years where she played the organ and piano. Most recently, she served faithfully as organist and choir director at the First Baptist Church, New Brighton, where her son is Pastor. Carol started her career as a Registered Nurse at Rochester General Hospital upon graduation from Jameson Nursing School. She then worked at The Medical Center as a Nursing Supervisor. Following her retirement from The Medical Center, she continued to work for 12 years for Tri State Surgical in Bridgewater. She loved music, cross stitching, sewing, reading and time with family.

She is survived by a daughter; Pamela (James Morris) Ours, one son; Mark (Melissa) Ours, a grandson; Nathaniel Ours, and one sister; Kathleen Goehring.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10am until the time of Funeral Services and Committal at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church, 315 8th Street, New Brighton, PA, 15066. Interment will follow at Boggs Cemetery, Freedom. Arrangements entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA, 15074.
