Carol Rene Maruca, 68, of Chippewa Township, on Sunday, January 24, 2021, heard the voice of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as He said, “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things, enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:23. Carol was born December 24, 1952, daughter of the late Anthony and Carolyn (Spinosi) Jerson. Carol, along with her husband John, founded Victory Assembly Church in New Brighton. She was a gifted musician and served as their Worship Leader. First in life was her relationship with Jesus Christ and the love for her husband, children and grandchildren. In her leisure, Carol was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and an enthusiastic follower of all things associated with Star Wars. Carol Rene is survived by her husband of 50 years: Rev. John P. Maruca; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jon and Heather Maruca, Downingtown, PA; Joshua and Jessica Maruca, Industry; six beautiful grandchildren who she simply cherished and adored: Luke, Levi, Leah, Talia, Tobi and Josiah. “Nana” was supportive of their every endeavor and proud of each accomplishment. She is also survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law: Elaine (Robert) Ehrenberg, Darlington; Paula (Paul) Saberito, Dix Hills, NY; and Ruth (Robert) Cea, Palm City, FL. Reverand Maruca, Josh, and John & families I am so sorry to hear of your loss! I know it has been along time since we have been in touch but wanted to pass along my condolences to your entire family. She was a great lady and lived a good life and is in a better place now. Having lost my mother last Spring it is not easy so say goodbye. However with all the great memories that you had with her there will be symbols that you see in the days, months, and years moving forward that will bring a smile to your faces. My apologies that I could not make it to town to tell you all in person. Please all take care and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
