Charles Frederick Marzolf, 86, of Chippewa Township, passed on Friday, February 1, 2019. He was born October 15, 1932 in Shaler Township, Pittsburgh, son of the late Walter and Ruth (Webb) Marzolf. Charles proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a retired welder who worked at many of the local steel mills during his employment. In his leisure, he enjoyed square dancing and was very talented in leather crafting. Charles was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Center Township.
Charles is survived by his wife: Carol (Neunsen) Marzolf; two sons: Charles A. Marzolf, Chippewa Township and Jeffery Marzolf, St. Louis, MO; one daughter: Charlene Alice Blackburn, Idaho; his brother: Walter Marzolf, Colorado and sister: Margaret Raker, Kennerdell, PA; his step children: Michael Born, Anthony Born, Lisa Dunsey, Carole Reynolds, Holly Fay, Thomas Fay and Stacie Swenson; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). His funeral service will be held at noon, immediately following the visitation. Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. On line condolences may be offered at www.saul-gabauer.com
