David A. 'Helmet' Roberto Sr., age 64, of New Brighton, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born April 16, 1961, he was the son of Augie and Frances (Talkovic) Roberto. David was a member of the Laborers Union #833, and a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Cecilia worship site. He was a lifetime member of A.B.A.T.E., and of the Harleys Owners Group, Valley Chapter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, David A. Roberto Jr., three grandchildren; McKenzie, McKayla and Julian Roberto, and a brother, Tim (Lisa) Roberto. Also surviving is a niece, Tyler (Ken Molenda) Roberto, his beloved girlfriend, Karen White, and he will be missed by his loving cat, 'Bubba'.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Roberto, a nephew, Devin Roberto, as well as numerous Aunts and Uncles.
Friends will be received on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, 10am at the St. Cecilia Worship site of Our Lady of the Valley Parish. (Everyone is asked to please meet at Church)
