Debra Morgan, 66, of Rochester Township, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Debra was born April 15, 1951 in Rochester, daughter of the late Emmett L. and Laurama (Leonard) Devore, Sr.
She was a Christian who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was a loving and devoted wife of 40 years, a fantastic mother and wonderful Grammy to her grandchildren. Although she enjoyed an occasional round of golf, her greatest passion was caring for family. Debra loved to host holiday family meals. She had a huge heart and was extremely caring to her loved ones. She was always willing to do whatever she could to help and to support them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Gary Devore.
Debra is survived by her husband: Roger Morgan, Rochester Township; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Garrett (Janine) Morgan, Beaver; Chad Morgan, Rochester Township; her daughter and son-in-law: Ashly (Michael) Shields, West View; three grandchildren: Sophia, Isabella and Westley Morgan; and excitedly anticipating the birth of grandson: Gideon Shields; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Emmett Devore Jr., Beaver; Stacy (Hope) Devore, Willoughby, OH; and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A brief service to celebrate her life will immediately follow the visitation at 3 p.m.
