Donald K. Fiedler, age 94, of Hopewell Township, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Caring Heights in Coraopolis. Born April 8, 1931, in Coraopolis, he was the son of the late Karl and Cora Fiedler. Don was an engineer for Aliquippa and Southern Railroad until his retirement in 1986. After his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and he traveled the United States with his wife, Angela.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Angela in 2014, a stepson, Frank Obermeier, three brothers; Roy, Art and Karl, one sister, Dorothy Bordeaux, and a son in law, Bill Waltonbaugh.
He is survived by a daughter, Kim Waltonbaugh, five grandsons; Bill, Kevin and DJ Waltonbaugh, and Justin and Ryan Obermeier.
As per Don's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
