Douglas Lane Douds, age 63, of Prospect, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at his residence, with his two daughters at his side. Born June 2, 1962, in Camden, New Jersey, he was the son of Joan Brutout. A lover of the open road, Doug often spent his free time riding his Harley. He was a laid back, easy-going guy that loved to have a good time, and made everybody laugh.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two daughters, Erica (Charles) Grimm, and Nina (Charles Hartmann) Douds; five grandchildren, which were the world to him: Ellie Douds, Cora, Arwen and William Grimm, and Harley Cousins. Also surviving are four brothers: Dennis, Alan (and his wife Connie), Robert and Wes (and his wife Chevy), and two sisters: Audra and Kris.
He is preceded in death by his Stepfather, Steven Halleck, his ex-wife (Maria Edwards), and their infant son, Ronald Douds.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 12 noon, until the time of funeral services at 3pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home: 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
