Edward A. Dixon

Edward Arthur Dixon, 91, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Cambridge Falls Senior Living. He was born on August 29, 1931 in Beaver Falls to the late Edward and Ruth (Butcher) Dixon. Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Julia M. Rocco Dixon on May 28, 2012. Edward retired from Westinghouse in Beaver after 35 years. He was a former member of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Beaver Falls, a life time member of the Beaver Falls Elks Lodge 348, and a graduate of Beaver Falls High School. Edward was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Air Force. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Denise Dixon of Springfield, MA, two granddaughters, Jacquelyn (Eric) Falardeau of Monson, MA. Brittany (James) Gilloran of Hingham, MA, and three great-grandchildren, Hadley, Cameron, Kendall, and a brother, Richard Dixon. Friends will be received on Saturday from 11:00 AM till the time of service at 1:00 PM at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc. 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074. Beaver County Special Unit will be performing military honors for Edward. Edward will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
