Edward Carl Kashella, 76, of College Hill, Beaver Falls, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his residence. Ed was born October 2, 1942 in Philipsburg, PA, son of the late Andrew John and Hermine Martha (Pintus) Kashella. He was raised in Curwensville, PA. Ed proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy, in the Hospital Corps.
He retired from the maintenance department of Babcock and Wilcox with over 25 years of service. While living in the community of West Palm Beach, Florida for a number of years, he was employed at the West Palm Beach Jewish Community Center. Returning to College Hill, Ed was employed with the Beaver County Transit Authority. Wherever he was, people enjoyed knowing him, and he enjoyed people. In his leisure, he was active at the YMCA and also liked to do a little hunting and fishing.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 33 years: Donna Jean (Stewart) Kashella; three sons: William (Rose) Kashella, New York; Edward Kashella, New Brighton; Robert (Kathy) Kashella, Sarver; step-son: Ronald (Lisa) Faulkner, New Brighton; step-daughter: Lori (David) Deems, Lady Lake, FL; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
