Eleanor M Fleet

Eleanor M. (Walker) Fleet, age 94, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at her residence. Born February 9, 1932, in Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Anna (Wessant) Walker. Eleanor loved gardening, even taking her passion to local gardening clubs. She loved to see things grow. She was the Day Chef at the Glass Tower Restaurant and Lounge in Coraopolis. Her last job before retirement was working at Sunflower Corner Hardware.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Fleet (2012), a grandson, Jason David Blair, three brothers; George, William and Bruce Walker, and three sisters; Jane Walker, Charlotte Peyton and Geraldine Smitsky.

She is survived by two daughters; Barbara Fetch and Christine Kephart, one son; Richard (Wendy) Childs, five grandchildren; Donald (Allison), Jonathan, Lisa (Denis), Michael and James (Courtney), seven great grandchildren; Ava, Bruce, Cooper, Cameron, Kallie, Easton and Luna, and two brothers; Joseph and Edward Walker. Also surviving are two stepdaughters; Margie (John) and Emma Jean a stepson, Joe (Bobbie), step grandchildren; Donnie, Heather, Joseph and Kristie, and step great grandchildren; Riley, Logan, Hayden and Evan.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 2pm until the time of funeral services at 4pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Pastor Heather Wakefield and Joe Fleet will be officiating. Entombment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
