Esther Begley

Esther M. Begley, age 94, died peacefully at Friendship Ridge, Beaver, where she had resided for the last 15 years. She was born January 31, 1920 in Beaver Falls, daughter of the late Clare and Mary (Trautvetter) Neely of Chippewa.

Esther was a retired employee from Westinghouse Electric, Beaver.

Surviving are: a daughter: Nancy (Sam) Wood, East Palestine; son: Robert (Theresa) Begley, Industry; seven grandchildren and their spouses: Jackie Kay, Samuel (Victoria) Wood, Jay (Kim) Wood, Sean (Dani) Begley, Shane (Christy) Begley, Seth (Dorit) Begley and Steffan Begley; eight great grandchildren; a brother Melvin Neely; and two sisters: Donna Murphy and Grace McDaniel.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl “Irish” Begley in 1971; four granddaughters: Raye, Faye, Kathleen and Billie Jo Wood; two sisters: Lois Barto and Millie Wishcherman.

In honor of Ester’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
