Ethel J. Snow

Ethel J. Snow, age 91, of New Brighton, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at her residence, with her son by her side. Born January 7, 1932, in Fairview, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Grace (Young) Gallagher. Most important to Ethel was her family, and her church family at New Sewickley Presbyterian Church. She loved to bake, loved camping at Audra Park in West Virginia with her twin sister. She was proud to be Irish, left handed, and to be from West Virginia. She had a passion for her pet Chihuahuas; Peaches, Buttons and Pepper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Donald E. Snow; two sons; Ronald E., and David W. Snow; two brothers; Alvin B. and David L. Gallagher; and two sisters; Edith J. Ozenich and Thelma Delo. She is also preceded in death by a grandson; David A. Snow, and a granddaughter; Jessica A. Snow.

She is survived by a son; Donald F. Snow; a daughter Nancy L. Snow Tolbert; seven grandchildren; Diana L. Snow, Kenneth Tolbert, Linda Tolbert, Megan Mangelli, Daniel Snow, Hannah Snow, Kaitlyn Snow; two step grandchildren; Amanda and Alex Bush; two great grandchildren; Christopher Mangelli and Natalie Snow and one step great grandchild, Phoenix.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm and funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16th, 11:00am at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Rt 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
