

“God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be; so He put his arms around you and whispered, ‘Come to Me’”. Frances J. (Zajac) Gabauer, 76 of New Brighton, went home to God, her husband and her children on March 2, 2013. She was born October 23, 1936 in Monaca, daughter of the late Michael and Antonina (Fujara) Zajac. Frances was employed as a personal care attendant and also had been employed in the shoe department at Kaufmann’s. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Beaver.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband: Victor Gabauer; her daughter Karen and son Gary; her brothers: William, Stanley, Martin, Joseph, John and Walter; and her sisters: Pauline, Bertha and Helen.
She is survived by her granddaughter: Victoria A. Romigh, New Brighton; one brother: Edward (Delores) Zajac, Patterson Township; nieces and nephews; and her dog Abigail.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial service to be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Rev. Fr. Robert Miller will officiate.
