Gerald E Dishler

Gerald Edward Dishler, age 81, passed away peacefully June 20, 2017. Beloved husband of 61 years to Donna K. (Ludwig); father to Sharon K. Daley, Glenn E. Dishler, Thad Dishler (Sherry); grandfather to Amanda, Caitlin Bradley (Darian), Kayla, Darnell, T.J., Ava, Bella; great grandfather to Nya, and Darian, II. Also survived by Brothers Kenny (Marie), and Bud Dishler, sister Joanne Blinn (Paul); sister in law Doris Floyd; a special niece Cindy Smith, whom was his daily caregiver, and several other nieces and nephews. Gerald was owner and operator of Gerald Dishler Roofing Company. He enjoyed gardening, reading, outdoors, hunting, and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Freda (Kendrew) Dishler , infant baby, brother’s Tom and jack Dishler. Friends will be received Friday June 23, 2017 from 2-6pm at Saul Gabauer funeral Home, 273 PA-68, Rochester, where services will be held Saturday at 11am. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. Family wishes to thank the staff for the care of their loved one at Good Samaritan Hospice, heritage Valley.
