

Glen Michael Conrad, 63, of Rochester, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 while under the compassionate care of the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Glen was born May 13, 1951 in Altoona, son of the late George Conrad and Dorothy (Cramer) Conrad, Conway.
Glen was employed as an Oil Laboratory Manager with Conrail and CSX Railway for twenty-five years before becoming the Laboratory Manager at ALCO from where he retired.
He had quite an interest in following the stock market. Glen honed his skill and knowledge of strategies and became a very savvy investor.
Glen was a great family man who appreciated the love he shared with his wife, children and grandchildren. He looked forward to their visits and thoroughly enjoyed family vacations to Myrtle Beach or getaways with Cheryl to Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by his father: George Conrad on January 30, 2015.
Glen is survived by his mother: Dorothy (Cramer) Conrad, Conway; his loving wife of 37 years: Cheryl (Frank) Conrad; three sons and daughters-in-law: Jason (Cristine) Conrad, Neshannock, PA; Sean (Rachel) Conrad, Cranberry Township; Brad (Amanda) Conrad, Cincinnati, OH; six grandchildren: Alyssa, Bobby, Michael, Timmy, Noah, Madelyn; and one expected this summer; his sister: Judy Bumgardner of Conway and her son, his nephew, Luke of Wexford; numerous other nieces and nephews on the Frank side of the family.
Friends will be received Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). His funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2015 in the funeral home with The Very Rev. William Evansky, Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
