

Huxley J. Lipscomb Jr., age 79, of Baden, went to march on the streets of Heaven Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Allegheny Health Network, Wexford, surrounded by his loving family. Born July 17, 1944, in St. Albans, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Huxley and Elizabeth Lipscomb Sr. He served as a Sgt. in the Marines Corp from 1962 until 1966, a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a Postal Carrier for 37 years in Baden, he worked for H&R Block as a tax preparer, he was a realtor and he worked at Manheim as a notary for 20 years. He was an avid gardener, a member of the Rochester VFW, a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Honor Guard, and loved his three Jack Russell Terriers, two of which he is now reunited with.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda (Eakle) Lipscomb; and one daughter; Margaret Lynn (Les) Daudet.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father in law; Bob and Dora Eakle, and three brothers; Herb and Charles Lipscomb.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 1-4pm and funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 12 noon at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). If desired, contributions can be made, in Huxley's name, to the Saint Jude's Children's Foundation.
