Isabell Guy, 81, of Daugherty Township, went home to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 with her loving sons at her side. She was born April 22, 1937 in Rochester, daughter of the late Harold and Naomi (Freshcorn) Musgrave.
A woman with a genuine spirit and sincere faith, Isabell was an active member of New Sewickley Presbyterian Church. She served as a Deacon, a member of the choir, the Women’s Association and enjoyed the years she participated in the church bowling league. Isabell’s volunteer work at the North Side Christian Health Clinic was especially joyful for her.
She was retired from the family business, Guy’s Service Station, Rochester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Donald Musgrave.
Isabell is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Dr. Mark (Christine) Guy, North Side, Pittsburgh; Gary (Ginny) Guy, New Sewickley Township; five grandchildren whom she adored: Aaron, Pittsburgh; Hannah, Philadelphia; Alex, Pittsburgh; Chelsea, New Sewickley; Morgan, New Sewickley; one great grandson: Maxwell.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Additional visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m., the time of service at the New Sewickley Presbyterian Church, 101 Big Knob Rd, Rochester, PA 15074, with the Rev. Dennis Burnett, officiating. Private interment will be in the Garden of the Last Supper, Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
