James M. Hinerman, age 87, of Rochester, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born January 6, 1938, in Glovers Gap, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Margaret (Hayes) Hinerman. Jim took pride in working hard and providing for his family, and was always looking to help others. Jim worked in the maintenance department at Westinghouse Electric in Beaver, PA until his retirement in 1993. Everyone knew Jim for his talents in repairing and restoring automobiles. He was relied on by many for his practical knowledge and steadfast dedication to family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Lila (Hackett) Hinerman (2025).
He is survived by a son; Lucas Hinerman and his wife Xin; his daughter, Cindy Jo Ciccozzi and husband, Gary Frink, his grandchildren; Kelvin and Keegan, and his brothers and sister.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 4, 2025 from 11am - 2pm and from 4pm until the time of funeral services at 7pm.
