Janet W. Gardom

Janet W. (Walls) Gardom, age 84, of Daugherty Township, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at her residence. Born November 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Clarner) Walls. Janet was a former employee for Bell Telephone in Sewickley. Janet enjoyed her knitting guild that met in Sewickley, as well as getting together with her former Bell Telephone friends. She also enjoyed traveling on vacation with her family and friends, cooking and baking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her husband of 64 years, John 'Jack' Gardom. Also surviving are a son, John (Michele) Gardom; two daughters; Judy (Bob) Schlemmer and Jacque (Jeff) Gardom; seven grandchildren; Tiffany, John, Nikki, T.R., Helen, Travis, and Robert, and three great grandchildren; Brynlee, Amelia and Chase. Also surviving are a brother, James (Marie) Walls, and a sister, Lori (Walt) Herbe.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
