Jean Marie (Mays) Gebhard, age 104, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Rochester Manor and Villa in Rochester. Born May 23, 1920, in Franklin, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Frank H. and Carrie (Dittman) Mays. Jean was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; the late George Singer Gebhard, a son, Michael Singer Gebhard, and two sisters.
She is survived by a son; Stephen (Jeannette) Gebhard, two grandchildren; Brian (Kyra) Gebhard and Michelle (Mark) Chemini, as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
As per Jean's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. If desired, contributions can be made in Jean's name to The Saint Jude's Children's Foundation.
