JoAnn M. Barkfelt

JoAnn Marie Barkfelt, 69, of Beaver Falls, passed on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Beaver Campus of Heritage Valley Health Systems. She was born March 10, 1942 in Pulaski Township, daughter of the late Charles Vernard and Shirley Willadell (Kimmel) Ball. JoAnn was a lifetime member of the New Brighton Croatian Club and a social member of the New Galilee V.F.W. Post 8106. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Charles V. Ball, Jr. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 50 years: Richard; five children and their spouses: Ricki and Barry Dennison, West Mayfield; Tracey Martin, White Township; Melissa and Shawn Russell, Patterson Township; John and Stephanie Barkfelt, West Mayfield; Richard and Chrissy Barkfelt, II; West Mayfield; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Harry Boguszewski, PhD of Ohio; Donald and Debbie Ball, New Brighton; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda and Wayne Seamans, Freedom; and Iva Mae and Pete Coggins, Rochester. Friends will be received Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum), with private interment following the visitation in the Garden of The Good Shepherd, Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Inc.
