Karen Jane (Bott) Fairley, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Deer Park, Texas surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born May 8, 1947 in New Brighton, PA. Karen was married to her high school sweetheart James R. Fairley, Sr. for 52 years. Karen retired from Kroger’s in 2004. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilmer and Dorothy Bott. She is survived by her husband James R. Fairley, Sr., daughter Sandra Trotti and husband Ed, son James R. Fairley, Jr. and wife Cheryl, grandchildren Brandon Zellers (Brianna), Travis Trotti (Cathy), Lauren Fairley, Tyler Trotti, Hannah Fairley, and Kelsey Trotti. She has one great grandchild-Parker Jane Vargo. She also leaves behind her best friend and sister, Marjorie Meade and beloved brother, David Bott along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors at Houston Methodist Hospital for the loving care they provided over the past few years. A very special thanks to her niece Brenda Ferrand for all her help and the loving care she provided at the end. We could not have survived the last 2 weeks without her!
Friends and family will be received on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A service will be held at 2 p.m. immediately following the visitation. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Zellers, Travis Trotti, Tyler Trotti, Josh Holecek, Harrison Cardiff, Chase Cardiff, Matthew Meade and Gunnar Gibson.
