Karl D. Simon

Karl D Simon, age 76, was born on July 7, 1944 in Pittsburgh PA to the late Karl & Ann Simon. He passed away on March 6, 2021 in Belleview FL. where he lived for 5 years; he was formerly from Baden & Center Twp PA. He leaves his loving wife & caregiver of 33 years Peggy (Margaret) Carrodus Simon.

Also Surviving are his step daughter; Lynne Fletcher (Marshall Wunderlich) Sewickley PA,Terry Carrodus (mother-in-law) Belleview FL, Elizabeth (Betty) Murphy, Concord NC, Deborah Carrodus , Chippewa PA (sister-in-laws) , Nieces & Nephews : Jason Carrodus, Beaver Falls PA, Brandon(Lisa) Carrodus , Beaver Pa, Ian (Sarah) Murphy Charlotte NC, Parker & Giselle Murphy, Charlotte NC. Kristin Carrodus Beaver Pa, Keith Simon (brother), along with several friends & extended family.

He was a member of Baden American Legion Post #641 & BPOE Ocala Elks Lodge #286, he served in the US Army 6 years & Army Reserves for 10 years. He retired from Conrail RR after 35yrs & Avis Car rental at Pittsburgh airport after 15 years.

A Memorial service will be held at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). on June 12 at 2:00pm, including full military honors.
