Laurama W. (Leonard) Devore, 85 of Rochester Twp. passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 in Friendship Ridge. She was born March 30, 1926 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Abner and Laura (Hertzler) Leonard. Laurama loved to spend time with her loving family and in her leisure she enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and working with ceramics.
In addition to her parents, Laurama was preceded in death by her husband Emmett L. Devore Sr.; a son, Gary Devore; brothers, Edwin, Wesley and Gilbert Leonard and a sister, Ella Mae Anderson.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra Morgan and her husband Roger of Rochester Twp., two sons, Emmett Devore Jr. of Brighton Twp and Stacy Devore and his wife Hope of Willoughby, Oh. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a brother, Melvin Leonard and his wife Anne of Philadelphia.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
