Margaret A Johnston

Born March 25, 1942, in Alexander, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Juanita B. (Alderman) Johnston. Margaret had a loving, giving heart. She would never forget your birthday, anniversary or special event. She always had a small present to give when she saw you. She enjoyed working in the garden, bowling, playing bingo and enjoying snacks. She was a member of Unionville United Methodist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Willard Johnston; her brothers-in-law, Samuel Roncevich and Richard Price, and a niece, Sheila.

She will be remembered and missed by her sisters, Pauline Roncevich and her children, Paula McCracken, Pamela Souders, Patricia Spencer, Paul Roncevich and Pascha Holmes, Dolores Price and her children, Shane Price, Shaun Price and Shannon Malkamaki; her brothers, George (Mary) Johnston and their children, Andrew Johnston, Sarah Marshall, Jennifer Myers and Ben Johnston, Ronald Johnston and his children, Jason Johnston and Jodi Schulthies, Richard's children, Jerry Johnston, Danny Johnston, Sherry Eisinhart, Cindy, Denise, Michelle and Logan, and Willard's children, Lisa Witzke and Kim Jennings; a sister-in-law, Kathy Johnston, and great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to specially thank her niece, Pam, for being her guardian and caring for her needs; the staff at Friendship Ridge, especially Danielle for her ongoing love and care of her Margie; her special roommate, Martha, and Donna and Lois from the Unionville United Methodist, for their friendship.

Friends will be received Monday, October 19, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum), where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be offered at
