Margaret Restak

Margaret Ann (Tomaino) Restak, age 87, of East Rochester, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born August 8, 1938, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Flora M. (Gasper) Tomaino. She worked at Westinghouse and Montgomery Ward, where she was an accountant/Bookkeeper. Later in life, she received her Real Estate License for both the State of Florida and Pennsylvania where she worked for; Caldwell Banker, Bob Garvin Agency, Century 21, Emerson County Realty in Florida. She also was employed for Disney/Buena Vista for over 5 years. She was a member of St. Cecilia Church in Rochester where she was also active with the Christian Mothers, and taught CCD. Her pastimes were her Wednesday Luncheons with her dear friends, BINGO, avid jewelry maker for crafting, love going to the casinos and loved her lottery scratch offs.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Restak, a son, Thomas Paul Restak, a brother, John P. Tomaino.

She is survived by two daughter; Karen A. Restak, and Kathleen S. (Restak) Collins, three grandchildren; Michele (Grillo) Pickard, Ernest Michael Grillo Jr. and Donald Patrick Collins, and one great grandson, Braydon Thomas Pickard. Also surviving is a brother, Richard Tomaino, as well as numerous cousins.

Friends are invited to join the family for Mass of Christian Burial, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Cecilia Church in Rochester.
