

Margaret “FAY” Wilde (Lentz-Summers), 83, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 22,2022, surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy-courageous battle with Breast Cancer.
Fay was born on June 2, 1938 to the late Howard and Mary Louise (McNutt) Summers in Kittaning, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Wilde; son David Lentz; brothers - Kenny Summers and Thomas Summers; sister-in-law Gail Summers; and niece Brenda Summers.
Fay is survived by her sister Linda Hagerty (Bob) of Chippewa, brother, Clayton Summers of Zelienople, PA, sister-in-law Betty Summers of New Brighton and sister-in-law Nancy Summers Russo of Harmony; her children- Richard Lentz, Jr/Rosella “Buttons” (Rochester, PA), Donna Beery (Salem, OH), Thomas Lentz/Kathy Whaling (Rochester, PA), William Lentz (Freedom, PA) and Mary Ruth Cunning (New Brighton, PA); and numerous nieces and nephews. Fay was very devoted to her children who blessed her with 14 grandchildren – Richard Lentz III, Autumn Lentz (Matt), Danielle Stewart (Ronda), Denise Halverstadt (Jeremy), Lorrie Beery (Dave), David Lentz, Jr, Donn Lentz (Trista), Dee Lentz, Thomas M. Starr Lentz, Maranda Parish (Chance), Kristianna O’Brien, April Reid (Scott), Matthew Fennell (Teresa) and Andrew Fennell (Rachel); and 25 great grandchildren - Hailey, Zachary, Sydney, Isabella, Elliot B., Xavier, Maddie, Elliot L., Layton, Lino, Dana, JJ, Kathryn, Chance, Parker, Theo, Kimberly, Zayden, Matthew, Tessa, Sara, Aubrey, Isabella, Landon and Gracin, all who she absolutely adored.
Throughout her life, she worked as a Photography Assistant, Color Technician, Cake Decorator, Nurse Aide, Vision Screener and Executive Director of the Beaver County Blind Association, from which she retired in 2006. She loved to experience life and traveled often. Fay spent her spare time taking photos for any special family event including countless weddings. She crocheted afghans, enjoyed trips to the Casinos and taught photography to those that shared her passion. In the last few years of her life journey, she especially enjoyed her “Pixel 2 Pages” Scrapbooking.
Fay was passionate about photography and shared this gift with everyone she met along her journey. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others and spread kindness everywhere she went. Fay was a wonderful woman of many talents who lived life to fullest each day. She was truly an incredible and inspirational woman who will be dearly missed.
A “Celebration Of Life” will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 5PM-9PM at the Rochester VFW Post 128. Prayer and Blessing service will be conducted at 5:30 PM followed by a buffet dinner for those that wish to attend.
Fay’s children would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Remtulla and Dr. Hogan for the exceptional, compassionate care provided to their mother and to Good Samaritan Hospice for their service - especially the kindness and care provided by Brittany, Renee and Jessica. All of you helped to make Mom’s life a little brighter as she struggled through her darkest times.
