Mark Kaufold

Mark E. Kaufold, age 64, of New Brighton, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at his residence. Born November 10, 1960, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late John L. and Virginia L. (Pullion) Kaufold Jr. Mark was a retired Union Carpenter, Local 420, he was the owner and operator of Kaufold Construction for 12 years. He was a member of the Big Knob Fire Department as well as the New Brighton Fire Department, where he retired from. He was a member of the New Brighton Council, a proud member of the Beaver Falls Elks Lodge #348 for over 33 years. He was an avid hunter, loved going to his camp, and riding his Honda Goldwing.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Tammy (Ketterer) Kaufold; one daughter, Shannon (Erik) McBride, one son, Mark E. Kaufold Jr., four grandchildren; Dakota (Alyssa) and Cheyenne McBride, Tyler (Chelsey) and Chloe Kaufold. Also surviving are two sisters; Barb (Paul) Ellis, and Joan (Dan) Kidd, one brother; Bob (Diana) Kaufold, four nephews; Anthony, Jack, PJ and Cody, one niece, Angela, a sister in law, Debbie Martin, and numerous great nieces and great nephews. He will be sadly missed by his dog, Tucker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert 'Bob' Teichman.

Friends will be received Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 10am, until the time of funeral services at 11am at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
