

MaryJane 'Cookie' Conte (Guglielme), 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025 at her daughter's residence, (38 years to the day from when her beloved husband passed away). She was the daughter of the late Adolph and Antoinette (DeLuca) Guglielme, wife of the late Marion J. Conte, mother of Joseph Conte, Rochester, Lana (Randy) Conte-Ball, Rochester, "Nunny" to the apple of her eye, cherished granddaughter Mia Conte, Los Angeles, California. Sister of Antoinette DePofi, Eugene (Laura) Williams, Sister in law to Louise Williams, Joanne Williams, all of Pittsburgh and Arthur Dibble, Vanport.
MaryJane was very loyal to her family. She is preceded in death by her siblings; Salvatore (Reni) Williams, Phyllis (Frank) Caligiuri, Valentino Williams, Adolph 'Jr.' Williams, Tony Williams, Joanne Williams, Theresa and Josephine Williams, all of Pittsburgh. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
In years passed, she was a Christian Mother and was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, now Our Lady of the Valley Parish. She was a beautician by trade, and had a small in house salon. She also worked, and was a retiree of Westinghouse Electric Corp., Beaver, PA.
Mary Jane was a valuable friend and neighbor to many, driving them to their destinations, doctors appointments, and day trips. Whether by car or airplane, she was always ready for an adventure, and enjoyed travels to Italy, Puerto Rico, New York and Paris to name a few. She always had an open door and a fresh pot of coffee on for whoever needed to drop by and chat or grab a bite to eat.
Dementia stole her memory over the last few years but she will be remembered for her giving, helping and caring nature.
Per MaryJane's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to; Clear Thoughts Foundation, for Dementia, 3000 Village Run Rd., #103, Wexford, PA 15090.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Franciscan Manor, and Advanced Hospice, for their tremendous care and support.
