Mary Kruppa

Mary E. Kruppa, age 92, of Aliquippa, formerly of Butler, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Lakeview Personal Care Home in Darlington. Born December 12, 1933, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Margaret (Erkens) McGowan. Mary loved the outdoors, always working in her garden and helping others with their own gardens. She enjoyed walking in parks, and on trails. She volunteered in Preston Park in Butler where she helped with the parks beautification.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late James G. Kruppa Sr., four brothers; Dick, Ed, John and Al McGowan, one sister, Margie Hartle, and one daughter, Ruth Truver.

She is survived by one son, James (Helene) Kruppa, two daughters; Carol Harper and Sharon Dilisio, seven grandchildren; Josh (Allison) Kruppa, Terry (Steve) Fortney, Lori (Keith) Wyberg, Joann (Michael) Miller, Carin (Jim) Stobart, Nick (Rena) Dilisio and Lou (Stephanie) Dilisio, as well as numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

As per Mary's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Entombment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
