Michael 'Mike' Romaniak, age 88, of Baden, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Villa St. Joseph in Baden. Born March 7, 1935 in Ambridge, he was the son of the late Metro and Catherine Romaniak. Mike was married to Margaret 'Peg' (Hartling) Romaniak for 64 years. He graduated Ambridge High School Class of 1953. Mike worked in retail at Terner's Mens Warehouse and retired from Sear's after 36 years of service. Mike was associated with the Baden boys and girls league and the Cub Scouts Pack 485. Mike served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years. Mike's passion in life was music, he loved singing and celebrating music.
He leaves behind his wife Margaret 'Peg', a son Robert 'Bob' (Tammy) Romaniak, a granddaughter Roxana (Mike) Martinez, a great grandson; Maddox and a great granddaughter Aria.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter; Linda, brothers; John and Nick Gera, sisters; Mary Didich, Ann Cooley, Helen Gera and Irene Binder. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
As per Mike's wishes all services were private and entrusted to the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
