

Mitchell O’Neal Yoho, 67 of Industry, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 in his home. He was born Sept. 15, 1947 in Sewickley, a son of the late Amos and Dorothy (Pringle) Yoho. He is the beloved husband of Heidi Ann (Gomersall) Ponich Yoho. Father of Robert Yoho and step father of Ashley (Jamie) Ponich Peters. He is also survived by a grandson, Samuel James Peters; sisters, Sue (Ted) Moldovan, Ruby Yoho, Jane Raisley, Sharon (Marty) Klemen and Christine (John) Kruest; a half-sister, Geraldine Jones, a sister-in-law Maxine Yoho, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three half-brothers; Edgar Yoho, Donald Pringle and Thurman Yoho.
Prior to his retirement, Mitchell worked for more than 25 years in custodial maintenance at Western Beaver School District. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 481 where he served as past Chaplin of the Honor Guard. In his free time Mitchell enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing or camping.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-7 pm in the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc. (Adjacent to the mausoleum at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park), 724-728-2456, where a funeral service will be held at 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mitchell’s memory may be made to the family or to fund esophageal cancer research.
