Patricia Ann Gaylik

Patricia Ann (Onderko) Gaylik, age 65, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. A resident of Crescent, Pennsylvania, she passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024. She was a daughter to the late Stephen R. and Jean A. (Winslow) Onderko.

Growing up, Patty would visit her grandmother in West Mifflin just across the street from the man she would later marry for 37 years, Robert E. Gaylik. Patty was a loving mother to Tanya (Josh) Broaded of Pennsylvania, Travis Gaylik of Colorado, Robert “Tyler” (Kira) Gaylik of Virginia, and Cassondra “Casey” Gaylik of Florida. She was the proud grandmother of Wyatt, Lyla, Norah, Guinevere, and Robin. Patty will be deeply missed by her brothers Johnny (Karen) Onderko of Ohio, Stephen (Pam) Onderko of California, and sister Cathy (Rick) Shirley of Pennsylvania.

Patty understood the sweetness in life, finding joy in simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time with her family no matter the activity. Whether an afternoon spent playing a card game, cooking with grandchildren, or watching a soap opera, Patty immensely enjoyed herself as long as friends or family members were a part of the fun. Her motto was to live every moment, laugh every day, and love beyond words.

Patricia retired from the Moon Twp. School District and was a member of PSEA.

Friends and Family are invited to the Saul Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 PA-68, Rochester, PA 15074, on Thursday March 14, 2024, from 4pm to 6pm.

She will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA.
