Patricia L. (Boak) Powell, age 95, of Brighton Township, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at her residence. Born April 5, 1931, in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Schwalm) Boak. Patricia was a member of Four Mile Presbyterian Church in Beaver, and she worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone in Rochester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Walter Powell in 1992, a son, Robert Powell in 2007, a sister, Dorothy Sochor and a brother, Kenneth Boak.
She is survived by two daughters; Vickie (Dean) Conklin, and Karen Powell, a daughter in law, Carrie Powell, and five grandsons; Doug, Eric, Zack, Jake and Luke. Also surviving are twelve great grandchildren; Elijah, Emma, Kaydence, Natalie, Violet, Leo, Jacob, Robbie, Nikki, Wolfgang, Phoenix and Onyx.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 12 noon until the time of funeral services at 4pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Entombment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
