

Pearl I. (Johnson) Emler, age 76, of New Brighton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at UPMC Cranberry Place, Cranberry, PA. Born, February 26, 1949, in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Irene (Brooks) Johnson. Pearl worked as a Preschool teacher for Beaver County Head Start. Her and her late husband, Thomas, were foster parents to multiple children over many years. She was a member of the Shiloh Assembly Ministries of New Brighton and enjoyed traveling to Israel with church members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Thomas Emler (2006), two brothers in law; David Hudak and Robert McCready, and a nephew, Robbie McCready.
She is survived by two sons; Brian (Karen) and Scott (Melanie) Emler, three granddaughters; Rachel (Avery) Skiviat, Lauren and Brielle Emler, two brothers; Ray (Linda) Johnson, and Larry (Lori) Johnson, and five sisters; Sandy Hudak, Susie (Dave) Harper, Sylvia (Nick) Bratnick, Candy McCready and Debbie (Chad) Russell, two brothers in law; Charles (Debbie) Emler, and Albert 'George' (Judie) Emler, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and foster children.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 3:30pm until the time of funeral services at 6:30pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
