

Phillip Russell Carcase, 62 of Tidioute, PA, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 14, 1952 in Rochester, son of the late Harry and Nina (Fraser) Carcase, Sr. Phillip proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from LTV Steel, formerly Republic Steel, Beaver Falls. During his early adult years, Phillip enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors and the quiet surroundings of his home in Warren County.
In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his sister: Jerri Annice Eisenbrown.
Phillip is survived his daughter and son-in-law: Joy and Nicholas Frisk, III, Ellwood City; his only granddaughter: Silvana N. Frisk; one brother: Harry Carcase, Jr., Buffalo, NY; and his sister: Leona Carcase, Butler, PA.
In honor of his wishes, cremation arrangements are by the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A brief service will follow at 7 p.m.
Military Honors will be presented by members of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc., Beaver County Chapter #862. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans, DAV #107, c\o 2616 Lenz Avenue, Ambridge, PA 15003.
